Description:
A dry wine of dark cherry color, made according to the traditional Georgian method of Qvevri. Characterized by intense and persistent aromas of blackberries, raspberries and currants.Sharp tannins are best combined with light acidity to create a balanced taste.The wine is best paired with roast beef, cheese and various nuts. Serve at +16 – +18 C.
Technical Description
Vineyard and grapes:The vineyard is located in the village of Bakurtsikhe in Gurjaani district. The vineyards are worked manually, the grapes are harvested by hand.
Yield: Max. 7 t/ha.
Vintage: selected hand-picked grapes and transportation in small boxes ensure high quality.
Immediately upon arrival the grapes are placed in Crusher machine, fermentation takes place at a temperature of 25°C – 28°C. Lactic acid fermentation is carried out 7-8 weeks after the end of alcoholic fermentation, after reaching the final taste properties, the wines are stabilized and bottled.
